The Apostolist 2011 Advent and Christmas Season

To young adults in their 20’s and 30’s, join us this season for

Monday, 11/28 - Winter's Eve
St. Paul’s will participate in the neighborhood-wide Winter’s Eve festival again this year. We’ll be singing carols, drinking cider, watching classic Christmas movies and getting into the Christmas spirit. Stop by the Church between 6pm and 9pm.

Sunday, 12/04 - Breaking (Ginger) Bread
Enjoy fellowship, food, and Christmas spirit at a neighborhood restaurant! Meet in the back of the church after mass, 6:30-8:00pm.

Thursday, 12/08 - Young Adult Mass & Adoration
Celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception with Apostolist. Take advantage of this great opportunity to spiritually prepare for Christmas. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will follow. 7:00-8:30pm in St. Paul’s Crypt Chapel.

Sunday, 12/18 - Church Decorating
Tis’ the season for help with decorating the church for Christmas. Join us in fellowship as the YA Choir leads us in carols. Snacks will be provided. Meet in the back of church after Mass.

Sunday, 1/08 - Catholic 101 - The Epiphany
Epiphany means “manifestation”, but what does this have to do with the visit of the Three Kings? Come out and learn the full significance of this ancient celebration of the revelation of Christ to the world. We’ll have food and fellowship as well. 6:30-8pm in the Parish Center.

Wednesdays, 11/30, 12/7, 12/14 & 12/21 - Well Versed Advent Special
Apostolist will be hosting a short four week Bible Study focusing on Advent to help young adults at St. Paul's engage in the Christmas season and the coming of Jesus Christ in a deeper way. Meet 7:00-8:30pm, in the Parish Center.

Will there be a fish fry in 2012? I used to go to fish fries every friday in Nebraska and miss it. Doesn't seem like fish fries are as big out here on the east coast.
