In the Light of the Lord: Apostolist Summer 2010 Season

For young adults in their 20’s and 30’s, join us this summer for

Sunday, 6/27 Apostolist Ice Cream Social: Kick off the Summer season with fellowship and frozen treats. After the 5:15 pm Mass, in the back of Church.

Sunday, 7/18 Theology of the Body Book Club: A discussion group exploring Pope John Paul II's teaching on love, sex & marriage. Organizational meeting 6:30 to 7:30 pm in the parish center (405 W 59th St, between 9th and 10th Ave). Further dates TBD.

Wednesday, 7/21 Young Adult Mass in Central Park: Meet outside St. Paul's on Wednesday at 6:30 pm. We will walk to the park as a group.

Sunday, 7/25 Question Box: Fr. Gil Martinez answers all those theology questions you always wanted to ask a priest. 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the parish center.

Saturday, 8/7 Church Scavenger Hunt: Enjoy fellowship and exploration as you let your clues take you through a tour of the city and discover its Catholic tradition. 1 to 4 pm. Meet at the parish center.

Fri to Sun, 8/13 - 8/15 Young Adult Retreat - "Go Forth to Love and Serve": Join with fellow young adults for a weekend retreat at the Graymoor Spiritual Life Center in Harrison, NY.

Saturday, 8/28 Scoop and Serve at Covenant House: Help host an ice cream social for homeless teens at Covenant House New York. 2 to 4 pm, 460 W 41st Street (between 9th & 10th Ave).

Sunday, 9/12 End of Summer BBQ: Wrap up the summer with fellowship and delicious grilled food! 6:30 to 9:00 pm, meet in the parish center.
